The Laughing Cow?

Hi everyone

Just wondering if I could give some as treats every now and then? Of course, I could do my own research, but it's much nicer to get your opinions on here...

My girl has a sensitive tummy, so I'm a bit paranoid, and since it's chilled cheese... I'm just not sure 😅

Thanks a lot! And if you have any other ideas, I'd love to hear them.

@adb, that’s great; as long as her temperature doesn't go up, that’s a good sign.

Koda was really poorly—he was very lethargic, vomiting a lot and had diarrhoea. He was sick for two whole days, but by the third, he was right as rain and back on his feet. I was careful, of course (a little bland diet for his tummy), but he’s completely recovered now.

I do think that changes in the weather can have an impact on them; as long as she seems okay in herself, I’m much more relieved for your little girl.

Yes, some rice can help with loose stools and a tummy bug, and maybe half a banana too—unless the dog is diabetic.

I hope everything will be okay...

Oh yes, it's that time of year for stomach bugs. My girl had a right nasty bout of it a couple of years ago and, just my luck, she went and passed it on to her mate who was staying with us—hooray!!

To top it all off, she wouldn't drink, so we made a big pot of rice and mixed it with some meat and dry food for the pooches.

Come on Orphée, get well soon so Dad lets you have a bit of Laughing Cow and some other nice treats ;-)

    @ Ulthia

Her temperature is 38.2, so that’s fine, no fever. She’s been wandering back and forth a bit but she's calm... I’m keeping an eye on her but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.

    Is Koda doing any better?

I wonder if they’re as sensitive to the weather as we are... (I really feel the cold myself). We got caught in the rain on the way back the other evening, so I’m wondering if she caught a bit of a chill, but then again it might not be related – she’s always had a bit of a sensitive tummy anyway...

Oh, poor little thing, maybe it's something she’s eaten that didn't agree with her, or perhaps a little bug? My boy Koda had a stomach bug last week.

Keep a close eye on her and please keep us posted.

I’m going to have to put this discussion on hold for now; Orphée was sick last night and again this morning 😥

She’s still eating and coming over to us, but she keeps going back to her crate to lie down. We’re not panicking, but we are keeping a close eye on her. I’ll take her temperature once she’s up. The reassuring thing is that she was still playing well yesterday, had no issues outside, and is eating without any problems.
