My 3-month-old puppy has a small red spot on his penis today. Am I allowed to post a photo or is that against the rules? He's my first dog, so I'm not sure if it's just an insect bite or something more serious, so sharing a photo would make it much easier than trying to describe it to you.

    No worries, it’s definitely an ingrown hair. Don’t hesitate to apply some Betadine, even three times a day, rubbing it gently with a gauze swab. It’ll burst and dry out, and in about eight days it’ll be all gone. Keep us posted, thanks!

    You can post a photo if you like, it's not against the rules. I can tell you now it’s nothing to worry about. It’s almost certainly an ingrown hair, which is quite common in puppies. Just dab some Betadine on it morning and night. It’ll probably swell a bit until it eventually bursts. There's nothing else you need to do; it's nothing serious.
