    My dog’s had them in other places too; I just popped the spot and kept an eye on it to make sure it healed up properly.

    Mind you, if it’s not bothering your dog, you can just leave it be and wait for it to clear up on its own. My dog’s one was itchy, so the sooner it was popped, the sooner he was comfortable again. But that’s not necessarily the case for every dog.
