Bought the wrong kibble – should I still feed it?

I think, though I might be wrong, that the only real difference in cases like this is the size (of the kibble). It’d be a different story if it were a puppy range and Athos was 10 years old...
But since it’s just the size we're talking about, rather than the dog’s age, activity level, or health, the only difference—apart from a few percentage points here and there—is normally just the size. It's just been designed for the mouths of smaller dogs.
And anyway, if it’s only complementary dry food, it shouldn't do Athos any harm.
Hi there, alternatively, if you're in any doubt, the best thing to do would be to donate this dry food to a rescue centre or an animal charity. They'll certainly put it to good use 😁
Alright thanks, I’ll feed as usual and keep a close eye on him ^^ I'll also compare the kibble size to his usual ones and watch out for any choking, but I’m not too worried—the medium-breed puppy ones are twice as big in this brand compared to others, so the small-breed ones might be a "standard" size... I can't find any info online at the moment, we'll see when they get here!
Hi Lewina
If it’s just to top things up and only for a month, just go with the recommended amounts based on your usual quantities (I mean for the dry food you’re using as a supplement). Keep an eye on their weight and activity levels over the month if it puts your mind at ease, but it should be fine.
It’s mainly the size of the dry food that would worry me, as I’m often scared she might choke, so I avoid mixing different sizes or even getting ones that are too small. But that’s just my own personal worry!
