I’ve got a question regarding this – I have an 18-month-old Australian Shepherd whose eyes were blue when he was a puppy until about 4 months, then they turned pale green (sage). I noticed today that his iris is starting to look blue around the edges? Could it be that his eyes are changing colour for a second time?

Thanks to both of you.
Yeah, it’s not the most important thing, I’m just curious really.
Whatever happens, my boy will still be a handsome lad!

My Aussie had "mint green" eyes until he was at least 6 months old.
Now he has golden eyes.

Some people will tell you the coat colour is "set" by four weeks, while others say it can keep changing until they’re a year old. The best thing is not to worry about it and just love your dog because they're "one of a kind". They’re yours, after all!
