Hello,

My dog Gringo, an English Cocker Spaniel, has had a lump on his throat for about one or two months now. He actually has them on both sides of his neck and under both of his front legs. He is vomiting four times a day but is still eating well (he’s been on wet food since the lumps appeared) and he often eats treats, which he's constantly begging for. He hasn't lost his appetite and he's still young. The lumps aren't getting any bigger and we have a vet appointment booked for December, but I wanted to know if you think it's serious? I'm really worried.

🤧 Thanks.

zezette, go back to the vet or see another one for a second opinion; there’s nothing we can do to help on here.

Hi everyone. My sweet dog has an egg-sized lump under her ear on her neck. I took her to the vet last week and she was put on antibiotics and steroids, but there’s been no improvement—it’s actually looking worse. What should I do? She’s really not herself. She’s 5 years old.

Hi, sorry! Just back from the vet. That lump next to his throat was just a mosquito bite or something similar that got infected. As for his paws, it’s just his lymph nodes being a bit swollen, but it’s nothing serious and they should be gone in a week. He’s had a jab, and for the lumps near his throat, another injection and some treatment to clear out the pus. Both were caused by mosquito bites or something of the sort. I’m so relieved it’s nothing bad! Apparently, he was only being sick because the lumps were making him feel uncomfortable. 😳 Does anyone know how I can delete a post, please?

I'm only 14 and I'm just really worried about my dog. My mum is booking an emergency appointment for 3 pm this afternoon because we don't know what's wrong. 😞

Your dog has been ill for two months and you haven't seen a vet? I must be dreaming – this is a nightmare!
