Hi everyone, a friend has offered me the chance to adopt a little dog, a Pomeranian x Chihuahua cross. Do any of you own one already? I'd love to see what these little darlings look like, thanks! 😊

I’ve got no shame at all in taking photos of my dog. Hiding away people with disabilities or animals because of their differences is just vile, if you ask me. There are so many talented actors, comedians, singers, and artists among them who perform regardless of their disability. If people are bothered by it, they can just clear off. Thankfully, they aren't shunned like they used to be, except in certain countries. That’s just my personal take on it. It’s a form of discrimination, and I’m talking about physical disabilities here. The Paralympics exist, after all, and those athletes are such a lesson in sheer determination.

Lots of them have this malformation and don't get runny noses, even with the snout being shorter. Champagne caught an eye infection and when the vet operated (just to check for any grit or parasites under the third eyelid), they didn't find anything but discovered that the tear ducts were completely blocked. They flushed them all out, but it's likely to happen again. Other than that, he has no trouble eating or drinking, or anything else. Here’s Champagne

Goodnight to you and Prada junior from the seven of us👋 gigi397

Oh yes, I know that film well, I love it actually. You got the title right, it’s definitely "The Devil Wears Prada". Maybe I’m the devil after all? 🤔😂

I love Bichons; I had Coton de Tulears when I was growing up, and I think the two breeds are very similar, actually. People tend to get them mixed up. I’ve never seen a dog with a cleft lip, but I must admit that even with their little imperfections, you still find these little balls of fluff absolutely adorable.

😁 I think the film is called "The Devil Wears Prada", or something along those lines.

Personally, I pick the name first and then the pet, and if the name is the complete opposite of their personality, then I let my imagination run wild. My Maltese is called Champagne; he’s lively, bubbly, and really great company – a proper little joker. He isn’t Kennel Club registered (phew!) because he was born with a cleft lip, but it gives him such a unique look. At least I’d recognise him straight away if he were ever, shall we say, "borrowed". 👍

Yes, I thought of Cleopatra too when I saw your comment. No, I called her that because I was caught a bit off guard. I had to find a name quickly because I was heading off to meet her the following morning. So, I looked up the list of 2019 names online and I just fell in love with Prada. Mind you, I’m not normally a fan of pets with designer names like Gucci or Chanel... but with Prada, it just clicked straight away. I quite liked Pandora too, but repeating two syllables is more than enough for me! 😅

😁 Cleopatra would be jealous if she saw that. Personally, I’d have called her that myself. Is Prada because of the film? gigi397

Thank you on her behalf 😊. In the last photo she’s got a dog biscuit in her mouth lol... There’s not a mean bone in her body; she only growls and barks when she’s playing. She’s super cuddly and makes a massive fuss of everyone, both humans and animals. Which is actually a bit of a pain, because not everyone is quite as sociable as she is 😏. Yes, she has those markings on either side of her eyes... She’s a proper girly girl, she’s put her eyeliner on 😂.

😁 Oh yesssssssss, definitely!!! In the last photo, she doesn't look very happy, it looks like she's curling her lips a bit. I love the little black line on the outer corner of her eyes (I assume the other eye has it too).

Long life to Prada and give my best to your mum.

    Lots of lovvvvvvvvvvve Jazzzzzzzzzzzz👍
