Advice needed: Pomchi (Pomeranian x Chihuahua cross)

Lots of them have this malformation and don't get runny noses, even with the snout being shorter. Champagne caught an eye infection and when the vet operated (just to check for any grit or parasites under the third eyelid), they didn't find anything but discovered that the tear ducts were completely blocked. They flushed them all out, but it's likely to happen again. Other than that, he has no trouble eating or drinking, or anything else. Here’s Champagne

Oh yes, I know that film well, I love it actually. You got the title right, it’s definitely "The Devil Wears Prada". Maybe I’m the devil after all? 🤔😂

I love Bichons; I had Coton de Tulears when I was growing up, and I think the two breeds are very similar, actually. People tend to get them mixed up. I’ve never seen a dog with a cleft lip, but I must admit that even with their little imperfections, you still find these little balls of fluff absolutely adorable.

Personally, I pick the name first and then the pet, and if the name is the complete opposite of their personality, then I let my imagination run wild. My Maltese is called Champagne; he’s lively, bubbly, and really great company – a proper little joker. He isn’t Kennel Club registered (phew!) because he was born with a cleft lip, but it gives him such a unique look. At least I’d recognise him straight away if he were ever, shall we say, "borrowed". 👍

😁 Oh yesssssssss, definitely!!! In the last photo, she doesn't look very happy, it looks like she's curling her lips a bit. I love the little black line on the outer corner of her eyes (I assume the other eye has it too).
