Hi there, fellow owners of power chewers!

We all know them, those classic Kongs for dogs with strong jaws. My girl has one... but even stuffed with cheese or treats, she's not really bothered. What she loves is shredding things—the toys she can pin down between her paws and rip at the fabric until they're in bits and disembowelled. Recently, I bought her a 'near-indestructible' squeaky toy; an instant hit! Within fifteen minutes, the poor thing was gutted and she was still yanking at the threads. So much for durability...

Does anyone have any ideas for really tough toys that aren't just the standard Kong? Bonus points if it squeaks and/or is a soft toy!

    Personally, I go for Kong toys because my Staffie ruins everything lol. She loves soft toys, but she destroys them in two minutes flat and I’m mostly worried she might choke on the stuffing... So I only buy Kong now ^^

    Also, since mine love tearing things up, I make sure to give them games meant for it... I always keep the cardboard boxes when I order something so I can let them rip them to shreds! Okay, it’s a bit of a faff cleaning up the living room afterwards, but it’s a guaranteed hit every time haha!

    Now, I can't guarantee it’s 100% indestructible, but for anyone looking for a tough ball, I’m a huge fan of the Jolly Soccer Ball :)

    I was a bit sceptical at first, but it’s really sturdy; dogs can puncture it with their teeth and it just reinflates on its own! You need to get one that's big enough so the dog can’t easily get it in their mouth to chew it.

    I haven't found any! Either he doesn't touch it, or if they decide to have a proper go at it, nothing lasts. I've tried dozens and dozens of them, and apart from a coconut which might hold out for a few hours, nothing survives—not even the toughest Kongs!

    There are Kong soft toys as well, the Kong Knots – I’m not sure if you’ve heard of them or if they’d be tough enough for your dog.
