Yeah, I've ordered some kitten dry food then – Inne Cat Kitten.

Looking at the two kitten ranges, Orijen seems better to me, but Nutrivet is good too ^^
Mind you, I think you should probably stick with kitten dry food for a few more months; it’s better for their growth, isn’t it? I’m fairly sure kitten food is specially formulated to support healthy development. Food for neutered cats can wait, I reckon.

Thanks, I’ve gone with Nutrivet as I think they’re lower in minerals and not as fatty, so I’d rather use them since my kitten’s been spayed.

But either way, it's still a good dry food 😺

I don't think Nutrivet is any better than Orijen because it contains potato, and the ingredients list doesn't give the percentages, so there's no way of knowing exactly how much meat is in there or what cuts have been used.

I’m not sure whether to go for Nutrivet-Inne Kitten or Nutrivet-Inne Sterilised; my kitten is only 3 months old but she’s already been spayed. I’m also not sure whether I should move onto Nutrivet-Inne Adult later on or just stick with the sterilised version. I eventually decided to go with Nutrivet because the ingredients looked a bit better than Orijen Cat & Kitten.
I also wanted to mention that she’s going to the loo every day and her poo is normally formed, but it smells quite strong. Could this be because she eats much more wet food than dry food?

Which Nutrivet range? And which bag specifically? I haven't tried them myself, but I can compare the labels for you if that helps ^^

Has anyone here used Nutrivet or Orijen? I’d love to know which brand you prefer. Also, for those who mentioned that a lack of grains could cause heart issues, I read an article saying this correlation was only found in dogs and not cats. Does that mean grain-free dry food isn't actually bad then? Especially since I’m also giving her grain-free wet food.
Finding the right dry food is so hard and I’m really worried for my kitten – I don’t want her to have health problems in the future 😔

Right, I see. I’ll stop with the Purina then, can you confirm? I’d heard there were some issues with kidney stones, but since my breeder told me she used it, I figured it was okay. I’m going to keep her on the Concept for Life kitten food and mix it with Orijen until she’s used to it. No problem with the update on the dry food, I’ll let you know how it goes. I personally just leave the dry food out all the time rather than measuring a set daily amount. As for the wet food, I give her about 0.3 lbs of Feringa or Animonda Carny; she absolutely loves her wet food and only eats a tiny bit of dry food, plus she steals 3 or 4 pieces of dry food during the day from my other cat who is on Royal Canin Urinary S/O recommended by my vet. My male is 15 and my kitten is 3 months old; I really hope Orijen is as good for their health as everyone says, haha!

I also came across a brilliant brand not long ago that does both wet and dry food; it’s called "Thrive" and it’s actually really good. What really surprised me is that there's 51% protein in their bags?? Amazing. The ingredients are spot on, same goes for the wet food… definitely worth a try!! Mind you, there aren't many veggies in it..🤨
