Hi everyone,
I brought home a lovely Maine Coon (from a very reputable breeder) – she's a tortie blotched tabby and white. I got her when she was 3 months old and she’s now 8 months. I’ve got a few questions about her growth: at 5 months old, she weighed just under 6.6 lbs, and now at 8 months, she’s barely reaching 8.1 lbs.
She’s absolutely adorable, very pretty, super playful, hyperactive and a bit timid (it’s hard to give her a cuddle, she doesn't really like being held! Maybe I’ve played with her too much and didn't get her used to "cuddles" enough).
She hasn't been spayed yet; I’m planning to have her done in her 9th month.
Does anyone have any thoughts on her growth? Is it normal for them to pretty much stop growing as early as 7 or 8 months?
