Thanks everyone. Shadow was bottle-fed because he was found on the street alone with his sister. His sister didn't survive as she was too tiny and weak. He spent his first few months in a foster home while being weaned, before going back to the RSPCA. I don't mind letting him do it when he comes to me in the evening, but he also comes back at around 4 or 5 am. He licks my face, then looks for my hand and starts sucking on either my finger or the back of my hand. Do you think there’s any chance he’ll eventually grow out of it?
