My cat has lumps on her tummy

Hi, my cat is 8 months old. She’s eating well, having no issues with her litter tray, she’s playful, etc.—basically just living her life. However, last night while I was stroking her tummy, I realised she had several lumps.

Could anyone tell me if this might be serious? I’m really worried... and since we’re in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic, my vet isn’t doing consultations today. Thanks for your help.

Hi there, those 'lumps' are her teats. If they're more swollen than usual, she might be pregnant. Or is it possible you've only just realised she has them and hadn't 'felt' them before? @Ulalie, Lizzza, you girls are in high spirits! We've still got a good month of holding the fort on the forum all by ourselves, so don't crack yet, please! Hi Isie, She has eight... blimey, what luck! Let’s hope she doesn't end up with more than eight kittens. 👌 If you hadn't noticed them before, it definitely points towards a pregnancy, whether it’s the real deal or a phantom one. When I think of all those people who’d dream of having more than two (oh yes, I’m sure of it). So, you think we’re "cheeky", do you? Well, you’ve got to be these days. With you, that makes three of us, so we should be alright. 👍 We’ll hang in there, with courage and determination.
