Hi everyone

My 4-year-old girl went out on Friday 26/05, so three days ago now.

And since then... nothing.

I’ve been calling her, but no luck, and she never usually wanders very far. I’m so scared 🤧

Mind you, it’s not the first time she’s pulled this stunt. Once, she disappeared for a week and then just turned up like nothing had happened. She’s also gone missing for 3 days a few times before, so I don’t know if I should be worried or not.

She’s a very good hunter and is absolutely petrified of cars, so she’s usually very cautious.

Should I be worried? Where on earth could she be? (There are some woods near my house, maybe there?) How can I find her?

(I’m probably going to go and put up some posters)

How long can she go without food or water? (if she’s got herself locked in somewhere, for example)

Thanks for the help, I’m really worried

    Yes, she's microchipped.

    Should I call the vet?

Hi there, Yes, you definitely need to make some posters; put up as many as you possibly can. You should also post about it on the local lost pet groups on Facebook. Keep going out on rounds, calling their name and listening out for any meows. Looking for a cat is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but you have to persevere for several days or even weeks. It worked a few times with my cat. Mine was missing for five days once (without food or water, I imagine). He’d ended up getting stuck inside a garage. Wishing you the very best of luck.
