Lump on my cat's belly

You can also check that there aren't any other skin issues around this "bump" (such as red patches, hair loss, or anything else). Male cats have the same number of nipples as females – usually eight, though some individuals have ten. If you’re checking your cat over and spot an even number of ‘bumps’ on their belly, lined up in parallel rows like the one in the photo, these are definitely nipples. They’re generally smaller on males than they are on females.
