How to recognise a broken ear?

Hi, anyway, I’d like to know how to tell if an ear is broken because my cat is holding their ear at a weird angle and it looks like it's broken.

You can't really see much... but I think it's just your cat holding its ear like that...

Is he scratching it? Does he seem to be in pain?

That’s news to me @P'titefleur! Before posting, I had a look at my cat’s and they’re so flexible that I did wonder, "Can they actually break?". I wasn't 100% sure myself. :)

Show us a photo... Some cats naturally have folded ears, it's just part of the breed... A cat's ear can't actually break... besides, they often flip them back themselves when they're grooming.

It’d be best to ask your vet.

Plus, "a weird position" doesn't really give us much to go on. Is it twisted? Bent double? Just hanging limp?
