As most people probably know, you're not really supposed to give cats tinned sardines.

I know it's a bit of a daft question, but I'm going to ask anyway.

Is it possible to rinse the sardines (with water) and then dry them out?

I hope I haven't shocked anyone with such a silly question!

I'm so sorry.

    Hi there,

It’s perfectly fine to feed sardines to your cat. In fact, they’re packed with nutrients like essential fatty acids, vitamin D, and calcium, which are all really beneficial for your pet. However, you should try to avoid standard tinned sardines as they often contain too much salt and oil. If you do want to give them as an occasional treat, make sure to drain off as much oil as possible and look for varieties with no added salt.

    Kind regards,

    Chloé

Yeah, but I'm worried the sardines might be too salty

Well yeah, a cat is still a cat, but even so, they've still got the right to eat dry food and meat or sardines...

Menthe: *can someone tell me what a DECENT brand is, because I want to give my kitten some GOOD quality dry food*

What do you mean by that then?

You’re saying a cat is just a cat.

Sorry, but I don’t quite follow what you’re trying to say.
