She was separated from her kittens the day before yesterday and was spayed two weeks ago.

Hi there,
It’s perfectly normal for a mother cat to go looking for her kittens after weaning. That said, this behaviour usually only lasts a few days, or a couple of weeks at most. How long has it been since she was separated from them? And how long ago was she spayed?
It’s quite likely that this behaviour is down to something else entirely. Could it be attention-seeking, over-attachment, or is she trying to tell you she’s unhappy about something? Or maybe she’s just a very chatty girl! :) It’s hard to tell without a bit more info.
