Hi there,
If a cat swallows a sharp foreign object, there is a high chance that their stomach or digestive tract could be perforated. Symptoms of such a perforation include retching, blood in their stools or urine, and vomiting blood...
This is actually quite rare and causes very clear signs of distress in your pet almost immediately. Since yours isn't showing these, it’s very unlikely they’ve swallowed any glass. However, please do keep a close eye on them and if the situation gets any worse, make sure to see a vet right away. You should also check their paw pads, as they might have been cut by the glass.
I hope this helps,
Have a lovely day,
Paul
Hi, I really doubt he’s eaten any glass. Glass doesn’t have an attractive scent for cats. However, he could easily have cut his paw pads by walking on it.
