Some of my cats absolutely love lettuce leaves!

As soon as I'm washing some, they come over to nick a leaf and eat it. Even when there's a leaf sticking out of my bird's cage (he loves it too!), they come and eat it!

Is lettuce bad for cats?

And is it normal for them to like it so much?

    Lol, you know what? My cat’s actually eaten cucumber before! Well, I’d say it’s not really bad for them, but since things like lettuce tend to expand in the stomach and cause bloating (just like it does with us), I wonder... is he doing it because he needs to clear his system? Does he throw up afterwards? It’s quite funny though, haha. Anyway, I reckon it’s just like eating grass for him ;D
