Cats who love lettuce!

Some of my cats absolutely love lettuce leaves!

As soon as I'm washing some, they come over to nick a leaf and eat it. Even when there's a leaf sticking out of my bird's cage (he loves it too!), they come and eat it!

Is lettuce bad for cats?

And is it normal for them to like it so much?

I can definitely confirm the thing about olives! I had a bit of a (bad) experience myself one day while opening a jar as I was sitting on the sofa. Noizette practically launched herself at me! I'll let you guess the rest: olives everywhere, juice on the walls, the table, the sofa, my T-shirt... All that just to say: WATCH OUT when you try it for yourself—be prepared! (laughs)

Yeah, all cats love the smell of olives, it really sends them wild. Mine plays with them like a mad thing and eats them, but someone told me that’s just how it is for every cat.

Haha, that’s so funny about the green olives! ^^ My cat Bonnie licks peanuts and even growls when we try to take them off her! But they’re packed with salt, so they’re really not good for her at all!

Noizette definitely has a soft spot for Camembert!! And any cheese in general, really. I think I’ll suggest a little side salad to go with it... as for the glass of wine, I’ll wait a bit longer!

Cucumber, haha! At first I also thought it was to clear his stomach like cat grass, but no, he doesn't spit it back out. And when I get back from the shops, they've almost all got their heads in the bags, ripping open the bag of salad to eat it! ^^
