He’s absolutely stunning, this little sweetheart, and a perfect fit, too.
People have no shame; it’s enough to make you lose faith in humanity.

Meet Blue, he joined us a week ago. He’s lovely – you can pick him up and give him loads of cuddles, and he’s happy as Larry! He’s a real velcro cat, true to his Birman genes! He gets a bit of the zoomies in the evening if he hasn't had enough playtime or stimulation during the day, but at night he sleeps in the living room and doesn't pester us until we get up. He’s an absolute joy! He’s been spoilt rotten since he was born and I don’t regret my choice for a second. Thanks again for all your advice! Apparently, everyone who came to see the kittens fell for him because he was so outgoing; one person even suggested swapping collars with the breeder to try and take him home!!! People will do anything!!
Congratulations on adopting your kitten, he’s absolutely adorable! 😻
Wishing him a long and happy life! ;-) 😺

And for me, they’re like a tonic! It’s the joy of having a soothing companion who’ll never hurt me, because human relationships can be so difficult and anxiety-inducing at times...
This is something that’s always struck me. I’ve had acquaintances who were practically scandalised because I spent quite a bit of money buying my cats—and don't even get me started on the vet bills—yet they didn’t bat an eyelid at buying the latest home cinema system or smartphone, going out for dinner every week, or splashing out a fortune on the latest trainers. Each to their own, I suppose. For me, just like for you, my pets are the priority. Besides, with the way the world is at the moment, you might as well treat yourself if you're able to. You never know what tomorrow might bring.
