When veterinary assistant Kyla Lodwig heard of a feral cat problem in a nearby junkyard, she knew she had to help.
With the owner unwilling to cooperate, she and her colleagues had to lure the kittens to the other side of the fence to bring them to safety.
Emergency foster
Once she got the litter home, Kyla placed the kittens in an area away from her other pets. But one determined cat was having none of it, sneaking in to meet his new tiny friends.
Bundy quickly bonded with the kittens, caring for them in the most unexpected way.
An unlikely father figure
"He's not the stepdad, he's the dad who stepped up", wrote Lodwig, captioning the clip.
The adorable video shows Bundy carrying a kitten around the house, just like a mother cat might.
"I wish my mum cat was like this to her own kittens", wrote one impressed viewer.
"This one is to all the single fathers out there, you mighty bearded mothers. I salute you!", commented another.
Gentle and caring, Bundy seems completely at ease in his new role as 'foster mum'.
