He had a lot of surgeries throughout his 15 years of life. Sad to say, he died during his last treatment. The Callaghan family was heartbroken to lose their best furry buddy.

A couple of days after Bandit’s death, his human mom spotted something that gave her goosebumps. Bandit’s water bowl was still around, since the family had been a bit too busy mourning to pack up his valuables.

When she glanced down at it, she was stunned to see that the leftover water had formed a smiley face within the bowl.

A few may believe that this is simply a coincidence and the natural settling of the water, but Callaghan feels that it’s a sign from their precious dog in heaven to let them know that he’s in a good place now.

Callaghan’s daughter, Catie, took a photo of the smiley face bowl and shared it on Twitter. It immediately went viral, reaching 13 000 retweets. An astounding number of Twitter users offered their condolences.

Other people replied to her tweet with very much the same picture saying, “I had the same thing! Early 2015; cried on the drive to work because I missed my dog. Looked down & saw this.”
