Ford has created a noise cancelling kennel for anxious and fearful pups - so while you celebrate, your dog can relax!

If your dog is scared of fireworks, you’re not alone - it happens to be one of the most common causes of stress and anxiety in dogs.
But Ford has the perfect solution
Car manufacturer Ford has come up with an innovative solution to firework fear in dogs!
The new Noise-Cancelling Kennel uses the same technology used in headphones (and in their cars), to cancel out loud noises - including fireworks!
According to dezeen, the technology was originally used to decrease engine noise in the Ford Edge SUV. It picks up high level noise and sends out an opposing signal through a sound system. To put it simply, the noises pretty much cancel each other out. Pretty clever stuff, right?!
No more doggy firework fear
"Many animals find fireworks scary – and compared to people, dogs can hear things that are four times further away, and across a much wider range of frequencies," said Graeme Hall, a UK dog trainer, in Ford's promotional video.
"Preparing in advance of firework displays is the key – and part of that is to identify a place where your pets feel safe and happy."
Ford of Europe brand content manager Lyn West, said to dezeen: "Making sure dogs and their owners could enjoy stress-free fireworks seemed like the perfect application for our Active Noise Control system."
The kennel is the perfect option for anxious pups and firework-loving owners - now, everyone can be happy! The kennel is just a protoype for now, but will obviously be released and developed over the coming months. We can't wait to try it out!
