Cadbury is updating their classic ‘Easter Bunny Tryouts’ ad and are inviting the world's dogs, cats and other pets to audition to be the new star of the show!

The original Easter Bunny Tryouts ad, which aired back in 1994, showcased a turtle, a cat, a lion (yes, really!) and a lama auditioning to become Cadbury’s ‘spokesanimal’. It’s a true classic.
But now, Cadbury’s thinks it’s about time for an update... and they want the pets of the world to get involved!
Does your pet have star potential?
The iconic chocolate brand is inviting pets from around the world to try out for their all new and updated Easter advertisement.
Whether your pet is a dog, cat, hamster, hedgehog, parrot, rabbit (we could go on and on!), you’re invited to take part!
To enter, all you need to do is snap a photo of your pet in bunny ears (as you can imagine, it can be pretty difficult!) and send it to the website before March 6th. You’ll also need to come up with a witty description of why you think your fluffy friend (or maybe not, if it’s a reptile!) should be the new Cadbury star.
And guess what? The winner is in for a treat! Not only will they be the star of the new ad, but they’ll also win a nifty prize of $5,000. No complaints there!
They’ve even got all-star canine judges
If you haven’t heard of doggy star Doug The Pug, you must have been living under a rock. He’s going to be acting as an honorary guest judge for the contest. Yep, your pooch or kitty better be ready to impress - Doug is an experienced model and we reckon he's got high expectations!
We reckon that’s enough talking, and it’s about time to check out some of the adorable and hilarious entries so far. You can thank us later!
