A mayor in the town of Châteaubriand, France, recently suggested a very original idea on how to stop dog poos from soiling his city.
Always go out prepared
Indeed, despite the free poo bags that are made available to all in distributors installed throughout the city, people continue to not pick up their dogs’ poos.
So the mayor is intent on passing a new rule: That those who are found to be walking their dogs without poo bags on hand be fined!
For the greater good
The details of how this would work (including how hefty the fine would be), are still being determined. If the suggestion is accepted, however, it could be enforced in just a few short months! People in this city better start getting prepared and pack their pockets full of poo bags, just in case!
