Mia Flynn's most recent night out started off innocent enough. The 28-year-old support worker from Rhyl, Wales, was helping a friend finish some DIY when they decided to reward themselves with a few bottles of wine.
Fast forward 12 hours later, and Mia wakes up in her own bed with a sore head and a fuzzy memory about how she managed to get home.
Where did this dog come from?
But that's wasn't Mia's biggest problem. Because she wasn't alone, Instead, Mia was sharing her duvet with a giant dog that looked a lot like a wolf! And it didn't belong to her!
Mia was petrified to find the giant hairy hound sharing her bed. But this mystery pooch was a big softie, and all he wanted was some morning cuddles.
But where did he come from? And who did he belong to? Mia decided to investigate.
She went through her phone to see if she could find any clues. And Mia found them on Snapchat. One story showed Mia strolling home with her new friend at around 2.30 am. In the next story, Mia is standing in the kitchen laughing as she tells her confused looking mum, "I've found a friend."
How do you top a night like this?
Neither clip explains why, where, or how Mia met the dog on her way home. And it looks like we'll never know the real story behind this bizarre encounter.
But the dog is now back where it belongs. One of Mia's Snapchat contacts recognised the pooch and contacted its very relieved owner. The unnamed dog parent will be keeping a closer eye on its furry escape artist from now on. And it will be a long time before Mia has a night out like this one.
