Ready for the cutest video of the day? Then make yourself a cuppa and settle in for 25 seconds worth of YouTube joy!
The video takes us to the first floor of a house. At the foot of the staircase, an Alaskan Malamute and parrot are face to face.
Alaskan Malamute vs. King Parrot
As its owner explains in the YouTube description, the yellow-headed parrot (Amazona oratrix) loves to fly to the ground to “mess” with the other king of the house, a playful Alaskan Malamute.
It's not the first time something like this has happened in this house, but that doesn’t make it any less adorable.
As can be seen in the images, the king parrot descends to the ground to face the family dog and the little bird seemingly does so with zero sense of size difference!
A brave little birdie
Far from being intimidated, the bird confidently watches the pup and waits for a reaction. To begin with the pup paces expectantly, following the parrot with an air of caution.
As the parrot shakes its wings, the Malamute is startled and reacts in the nicest way you could imagine: bowing in a playful and almost submissive gesture.
The two are clearly great mates and we’d happily watch them play all day!
