Cyril Rohrer and Erik Rohrer were halfway up the 10,000 ft Mt. Britsen in Switzerland when they noticed that someone else had joined the adventure.
It was a tiny tabby cat, and this brave kitten was determined to follow her new friends right to the top of the mountain!
This wasn't the cat's first adventure
But as the group approached the summit, the kitten began struggling with the harsh conditions. She started to shiver, and her paws were bleeding from the cold snow. Finally, she was too exhausted to walk any further.
A group of climbers coming down from the mountain offered to take the cat back to safety. The brothers carried on to the top, but they couldn't get the little kitty out of their mind.
After coming back down from the peak, Cyril and Erik asked the resort staff about their furry little friend. They were glad to hear she was OK. Then they found that this wasn't the first time the cat had attempted to climb the mountain. She'd tried it twice before!
Stick to climbing trees!
Does this feline keep getting lost? Or is her cat-nav set to adventure mode? We don't know. But either way, let's hope she stays off the snow and starts climbing trees instead of mountains!
