Small, medium, large, giant – we think all dogs are amazing, but this pup shows just how truly special they can be when she reacts to a sudden emergency.

Hayley Moore is the proud owner of Clover, a one-and-a-half-year-old dog.

She already adored her pup but little did she know that pretty soon she might just owe Clover her life, too.

Completely out of the blue

Hayley, who has no history of fits or seizures, was walking down the street in her hometown of Ottowa, Canada with her dog when she had a sudden and unexpected seizure.

Hayley has little memory of the event and says,

“All I remember was I woke up in an ambulance being very, very confused”

But, a neighbour’s security footage was able to fill in the blanks and the video is incredible.

Amazing footage

We see Hayley and Clover walking down the street. Suddenly, Hayley falls to the floor and begins to convulse.

Clover initially stays by her owner's side and then, seeing that there’s no response from Hayley, she frees herself from her lead and runs into the middle of the road to block the way of a passing car.

Hayley’s mum describes the actions of the pup as mind-blowing and we can’t help but agree.

We hope that Hayley is getting the attention she needs and Clover is getting all the fuss and treats that she deserves.

We’ve said it before and we have no doubt that we’ll say it again – we don’t deserve dogs!
