Losing a fur baby is one of the hardest things any pet owner must go through. Anyone who’s ever lost a beloved pet can relate to Ayda’s heart breaking post about Milo, her beloved 18-year-old Persian that she lost just a little over one day ago:
“With every job I didn’t get or boy who broke my heart (yes, I’m talking to you @robbiewilliams :) you comforted my tears with your cuddles and protected me each step of the way. You saw me go from single young girl, to strong independent woman, to wife, to mother of four children. Always, you were by my side. Tonight, I had to say goodbye to you in my arms. A pain that cuts so deep. How can I say goodbye to my little mate? I’ve never known adult life with you. I’m currently crying my eyes out...tears that hurt and miss you already.”
Ayda Williams talks of her best memories with Milo
Inundated with messages of condolences and support, Ayda decided to post a video to her IGTV to give her fans more of an inside look on her relationship with her Persian, Milo. She was joined by hubby Robbie Williams, who also shared his experiences.
Ayda started by talking about how Milo was a particularly great support to her when she started out as an actress. For example, when she worked on a movie set in Atlanta at 18 years old, the pressure was very high. But it all became bearable when her mum came to visit her with little Milo. He stayed by her side, cuddling, purring, and kneading his way to her heart, comforting her and making her strong when she needed it most. Ayda said that was the most special memory she had with her beloved cat.
Robbie Williams shares stories of pets passed
Robbie Williams then jumped in to talk about several of his dogs, though the dog who had been his most special pet over the years was Trixie. Trixie was a Cairn Terrier who he had grown up with.
“She didn’t like me. But I was very fond of her,” said Robbie.
Incredibly, Robbie talked about how Trixie visited him from beyond the rainbow bridge a few months after she had passed. Robbie heard his sister come into the house, and when he went to greet her, he saw Trixie jumping up on her legs! According to Robbie, she was there for a “split second”, then disappeared.
Proof that the ones we love and who love us in return are never really gone. We wish all the best for Ayda and Robbie Williams in getting through this tough time. Hopefully their other pets will help to fill the void!
