Roger the Dachshund has always loved getting cosy. Known for snuggling up on laps, on cushions and even with the family cats, Roger’s affectionate nature has always been lovely yet uneventful.
But, his new habit has changed all that and he's getting himself into some rather sticky situations!
A snuggle with a difference
Like many Dachshunds, Roger loves burrowing. He likes to sit under blankets or climb under the duvet but he's found a new nook this winter, in the sleeves of his owner's jumpers.
Roger's owner Autumn, first became aware of her pup's unusual new hobby when she called him downstairs and heard whining coming from her bedroom.
When she went to investigate, she was greeted with the sight of Roger stuck firmly in the arm of one of her jumpers!
No turning back
Autumn rescued Roger and assumed he’d learn his lesson. But, ever since then, Roger curls up in the arm of her sweaters any time he gets the chance... even though he has no way of getting out.
Autumn has shared the hilarious footage to TikTok and users are falling in love with Roger and his silly antics.
For now, Autumn has taken to hiding her jumpers just to keep the pup out but we have a sneaking suspicion this won’t be the last time he retreats to his favourite hiding place.
We don’t blame you Roger, roll on spring!
