Hilarious ad for second-hand sofa reveals all is not quite as it seems
An ad posted online recently revealed that sellers sometimes sugarcoat the truth to find buyers...and once the internet finds out, they never hear the end of it!

When buying a second-hand sofa, you do so at your own risk. There’s no warranty and if the furniture breaks three days after you made the purchase, there’s probably nothing you can do.
The important thing is to have faith in the sellers who you’re buying from…
A suspicious claim...
The ad in question, which was subsequently shared on social media platform Reddit, initially looks like any other private seller ad.
It states that the sofa is grey, nearly new and comes from a house with no animals. Presumably they add that disclaimer to reassure potential buyers that the sofa won’t be covered in fur and won’t have scratch marks anywhere.
The only problem with this thoroughly trust-worthy seller though is the rather obvious cat in a very prominent position in the photo.
The hilarious kitty obviously snuck into the photo without its owner realising but for anyone else looking at the snap, it’s all we can see!
We’re not sure whether or not the sofa was sold but we can say for sure, the cat probably didn’t go with it!
