It had been a normal evening shift for two police officers in Jaworzno, Poland. They were sitting in their police car sorting through some important paperwork.

Then suddenly, the officers were no longer alone. There was a sneaky, whiskered intruder in the car.

Cuddly intruder

An adorable tortoiseshell kitten had found her way into the police car. Completely undeterred by being in the police car with two uniformed officers, she happily made herself comfortable on one of the officers’ lap.

As the police officer tried to carry on with his paperwork, the friendly feline rolled around on the paperwork, rubbing her head against the man’s hand. The officer at first appeared to try and resist the cat’s charms.

But that didn’t last long.

Attention seeker

The kitten seemed determined to get attention from the male officer. Instead of removing the cat, the officer simply worked around the cat, occasionally giving her a quick stroke.

There was no sign of who the cat belonged to or where she’d come from. But instead of just putting her back on the street, a cat-loving police officer agreed to take care of the adorable kitten while they looked for her owner.
