Puppies are cute, there’s no denying it but older dogs are just as deserving of our love.

If you’ve ever owned a dog from puppy to senior then you’ll know that while puppies are adorable, it’s the older pooches who love you unconditionally.

A sweet idea

A dog rescue shelter in Flagler County, Florida has come up with a novel idea to rehome their senior pups just in time for Adopt a Senior month.

The group of workers at this not-for-profit shelter decided to dress the pups in a series of wigs, glasses, monocles and ties to show not just their advanced age but also their playfulness.

Each post reveals a little about the dog in question with details on their age, where they came from and their personality traits.

Closer to home

These particular pups are all the way over in the US so it might be a bit of a journey if you were hoping to adopt any of them but there are plenty of dogs in shelters in the UK who are looking for their forever homes.

We love dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages here at Wamiz so if you’re considering bringing a dog into your home then we’d urge you to adopt, not shop.
