Poor Ole has experienced some ups and downs of late. A few years ago he was stuck in a shelter waiting for someone to offer him what every dog deserves - a loving home.
So when he was eventually adopted with a loving family, everybody thought Ole was off to live his happily ever after. But just weeks later, this poor pup was back where he started - living in a shelter and pining for a family to call his own.
Ole is back to square one
So where did all go wrong for Ole? Was he a 'bad' boy? Did his family not love him enough? Of course not! Ole just couldn't settle into his new home. He's not familiar with spending time around young children and his instinct to protect his owner means he doesn't like sharing space with other pets.
Ole can still get his happy ending
Ole's story is a sad one. In fact, his owners had tears in their eyes when they handed him over. But sometimes the hardest decision is also the right one. Plus, Ole's tale isn't over yet.
Staff at the shelter are working as hard as they can to find Ole a new home. And given how loyal and loving he is, they're confident it won't be too long before Ole finds someone who matches his needs.
