Not many cats get the chance to meet their Grandchildren, so when they do the moment is something to be cherished.
Fortunately, when Bella, a beautiful Bengal, met her daughter's kittens for the first time, her owner was able to capture the moment on camera for everyone to see. And it seems that Bella was keen to embrace her role as Grandma, even helping to keep the kitties in line!
The clip, which has reached a staggering 1.5 million views, shows Mum cat Divine lying exhausted on the floor surrounded by her litter of five kittens, Prince, Infinity, Prisma, Knight and Blossom. In the background watching everything is Grandma Bella.
As the kittens climb all over Divine, Bella is curious to meet the newest members in her family and slowly approaches the young family. When one of the kittens becomes momentarily separated from their siblings, Bella comes over to the kitten. After giving them a curious sniff, she uses her nose to encourage them back on to their mother.
Bella continues to keep a close eye as if to make sure that no other kittens wander off, even giving one or two a typical Grandma clean!
There's an incredibly precious Mum and daughter moment in the video where Bella leans into Divine and gives her a lick on the mouth as if to check she's okay and to say "well done". For the rest of the video, Bella seems happy just to sit back and proudly watch over her family.
