Vertically challenged dog gets the boost he needs to meet some new friends
It's not easy being the little guy. But thanks to some help from his dog-dad, this vertically challenged pooch can finally hang-out it with the biggest dogs on the block!

About six months ago, Giuseppe the Chocolate Labrador moved into a new house with his dog-dad, Robert Carnes. And like most super friendly-labradors, the first thing Giuseppe wanted to do was meet his new neighbours.
They included a pair of giant Great Danes called Vito and Bambino. But there was one (big) problem. The large wall in the back garden separating the houses was too big for Giuseppe to see over! He could smell his new dog buddies, but he just couldn't get to them!
Giuseppe gets a leg-up!
Speaking to The Dodo, Robert Carnes said:
"Giuseppe would furiously jump as high as he could and try to say hello. I would always say, 'If you only had a step stool.'"
And then Robert realised something. He did have a stool. So he placed it at the foot of the wall, giving Giuseppe a chance to meet the neighbour's face-to-face - although it was actually more like nose-to-nose!
Robert caught the adorable meeting on camera and sent a picture to Afton Tarin, the owner of the giant pooches.
A dog's love can overcome all obstacles
"My initial reaction was to bust up laughing," Tarin said. "Seeing his little feet fully extended and his tail all blurred out from wagging too fast. So stinkin' cute. It definitely gives you that feel-good feeling."
It just goes to show, a dog's love can overcome any barrier!
