Sarah recently moved to La Réole, a small village in the South-West of France. At first, the move was a success. The town was beautiful, and the neighbours were kind.
But Sarah’s life - and her beloved dog's - soon became a nightmare.

Hunting disaster
Last Sunday, she let her dog Naiko go out exploring at around 7:30pm. But when her beautiful White Swiss Shepherd returned home, he was covered in blood.
She rushed her beloved pooch to the vet, where she discovered that he had been shot with a hunting rifle. 50 pieces of lead had scarred his face and skull. Though it seemed that he wouldn’t make it, the vets did everything they could to save him.
Justice for her White Swiss Shepherd
By some miracle, Naiko survived, though he lost one eye. Determined to find the cruel hunters who did this to him, Sarah has posted about the incident on Facebook, warned animal welfare charities all around France, and made a formal police complaint.

She hopes to bring those who hurt her lovely, innocent dog to justice. But for now, it’s enough to know that Naiko is on the road to recovery.
We wish them both the best!
