Numan Uzunsoy is a street artist from Turkey. He and his troop of fellow thespians regular perform in town squares up and down the country, entertaining passers-by with their hilarious comedy routines and dramatic plays.
But during a recent performance, Numan and the rest of the cast were upstaged when a stray pooch wandered onto the set. In fact, you could say the furry interloper stole the entire show.
A guest appearance
But despite the intrusion, all the actors saw the funny side. And that's because this uninvited guest wasn't trying to hog the limelight. Instead, he just wanted to help. Speaking to the Dodo, Numan said:
"The character I played was injured and in great pain. Then I felt warmth on my face."
At first, Numan thought one of his co-stars had gone off-script. But when he opened his eyes, Numan realised he was being covered in kisses from a kind-hearted street dog!
"I was very touched," continued Numan "He was like an angel who wanted to help me. It was a very emotional moment."
Now it's Numan's turn to help
Numan returned to the same spot the next day, determined to find this loving pooch a home. Unfortunately, the star of the show wasn't there. But Numan isn't giving up.
"I'll look for him until I find him," said the actor "I've always loved animals."
