The kittens' story begins when their mum, a pregnant stray, kept appearing in a garden in Montreal, Canada. The concerned homeowner contacted animal rescuers Stef and Johanne who took on caring duties for the expectant feline.
After a vet checked the cat over, she was taken home and given somewhere safe and comfortable to deliver her kittens. Just a few days later, her kittens were born. After a difficult birth, the mum cat delivered three adorable tabby male kittens. The tiny brothers were named Leelo, Elijah and Jasper and quickly formed a strong bond.
The kittens always cuddle up together at naptime and even wrap their little legs around each other. And just like brothers, they love to play and wrestle with each other. Their bond is so strong they cry whenever they are apart.
The kittens' mum took good care of the furry siblings, and once weaned, a local family adopted her. But it seemed that the kittens would have to wait a while longer before they were able to find their 'furever' home and local rescue shelter, Chatons Orphelins Montreal, arranged for the kittens to stay with a foster family.
With such an unbreakable bond between the trio, it was clear that the brothers must stay together. Finally, the brothers got their wish. A family fell in love with all three and ended the kittens' weeks of waiting by offering them a loving home.
