Riley is a six-year-old Golden Retriever who lives with his owner Nick Kime in Richmond, Virginia.

He is a very affectionate dog and always makes sure he greets his owner with a cuddle. But as a montage of clips shared on Instagram reveals, Riley doesn't just settle for a pat and a stroke.

Every time Riley sees his owner, he launches himself into Nick's arms as if he was just a little pup. Even if Nick is carrying shopping bags or just trying to go into his house, Riley comes towards him like a giant, fluffy ball and the dog lover has no choice but to catch him.

Nick, a photographer, shared footage of the pair's unique game of catch on Riley's Instagram which has over 90,000 followers. As Riley flies through the air, he's wearing a superhero cape and even wings as his owner braces himself to catch the playful pup. The video ends with Nick lifting his canine pal in the air.

It's not Riley's first taste of fame. His Instagram features photos and videos showing him dressed up in various costumes, helping Nick at the gym, sharing a meal, even a bath with his favourite human and just relaxing, watching TV at home.
