Lucky the pooch is...well, he's a very lucky pup. He's got a pair of dog parents who love him, a little canine sister, and Lucky never has to ask twice for a chin stroke.
Best friends for life
And Lucky has also got a best friend that never leaves his side - a cuddly stuffed teddy bear.
"It goes everywhere with him," said Michaella Wallace, Lucky's mum. "He plays with it at all times. He protects it like it's his own baby."
So you imagine Lucky's distress when his little buddy went missing. But then it got worse when Lucky spotted his baby lying out in the garden. And the poor thing had been out here all night during a snowstorm!
Lucky didn't know what to do, so he turned to his dog-dad for help. Mr Wallance rushed outside and so began a dramatic (and very cute) rescue mission.
After towelling the toy off, Mr Wallace set up a little recovery room, complete with a mini IV drip and designated visiting hours for Lucky to watch over his little bestie.
A very happy ending
The brown bear has since made a full recovery.
"He is fully recovered and happily back with his protector," said Mr Wallace.
Lucky is delighted to have his best friend back and has promised to keep a closer eye on him in the future.
