Cats sleep a lot. Kittens sleep even more! So when you meet one, chances are he/she is either waking up from a nap, taking one, or about to take one.

But sometimes you have the inbetweeners: the ones who should be taking a nap but aren’t. Kittens are also super curious and playful by nature, so if something’s going on around them, they want to make sure they’re not missing out on anything! That means they’ll fight sleep off with determination if they have to.
This is the case for this adorable Scottish Fold kitten. Though he’s clearly exhausted and should be sleeping it off, the little guy is set on staying awake.
Cutest catnap
He sits upright, stoic like, refusing to lie down. But despite his best efforts, his face betrays him. His eyes start to close, his head starts to tilt back, and his body even starts to sway.
After 2 minutes of ruthless battling, the adorable feline finally accepts his fate and lies down on the ground. We hope his owners picked him up and took him to a nice comfortable bed afterwards. He certainly needs one!
