There’s nothing better than enjoying a delicious cool ice cream on a warm summers day. Fur-tunately, your canine companion doesn’t have to miss out. They can enjoy their very own delicious ice cream treat that's completely dog friendly.
As many people are opting for a staycation this year instead of going abroad, ice cream parlour JoJo’s Gelato in Western Road, Brighton has seen a rise in the number of people buying ice cream. But while this is good news for the store, they want to make sure their customer’s four-legged friends get to enjoy a treat too.

Mutts about ice cream
While manager Farrukh Azmat always makes sure there is a bowl of water available to keep his canine customers refreshed, he felt they deserved something more. So the ice cream parlour came up with the idea of creating a special ice cream for dogs to tuck into while their owners are enjoying an ice cream.
The vanilla flavoured ice cream has been made using a dog-friendly recipe and is put in special tubs for the pups to enjoy outside.
Not surprisingly, the sweet treat has gone down very well with the local canine community and Farrukh said that so far all his doggy customers have been very well behaved.
