26th August is International Dog Day. At Wamiz, we really don’t need an excuse to celebrate dogs and explain why they are the best but we thought we’d take the opportunity anyway…

Do you sometimes wonder if dogs really are the best thing that ever happened to humankind? Well, we can tell you with full confidence that they absolutely are but if you’re looking for proof then read on…

1.They’ll go to any lengths to make you happy

Wear a t-shirt? Drive a scooter? If it’ll make you smile then this doggo is up for it, whatever it is.

2.They can make friends with anyone

New to an area? Want to get to know your neighbours? Dogs have the uncanny ability of making friends wherever they go.

3.They remind you to take it easy…

Been burning the candle at both ends? Pups remind us that there’s no harm in taking it easy for a while.

4.…But also make sure you get some exercise

Whether they’re mirroring your downward dog or just reminding you that it’s in your own best interests to get out for a walk every day, dogs make sure you stay active.
