Not all cats are unfriendly and unaffectionate, quite on the contrary! But rare are those that want to share your personal space all the time – unlike dogs.

But this cat, whose antics were recently filmed and posted on Reddit, is a fan of PDA.

Cutest cuddler

Titled “Affection is not optional”, the video shows the cat taking a nap on his owner’s chest. So far, so normal, but the cat is then seen cosying up, inching closer and closer to his human, holding her in place with his velvety paws and pressing his face against hers so there is literally no more space between them.

We’ve hardly ever seen anything so cute, but the cherry on top? The video ends with the cat lifting his head up to lick his owner’s nose vigorously, as if to tell her – just in case she hadn’t noticed – that he loves her very, very much.

Cats rule!

So to all the haters out there who think cats aren’t as lovely as dogs, we’re sorry to tell you that this video exists to prove you wrong.
