Black kittens Specks and Dots were found huddled together in someone’s garden back in January.
A fight for survival
Because it was in the dead of winter, the kittens were at risk of freezing to death – not to mention they were also in danger of getting run over by cars if they so much as attempted to cross the street.
To make matters worse, Specks’ clouded eyes clearly indicated cataracts and therefore extremely limited vision. Without knowing it, Specks could have at any point walked blindly into fatal danger.
The ending they deserved
Dots was in much better condition than his brother, who was also very weak and wobbly, but he never thought for a single second of leaving his sibling behind. He stayed by his side, keeping him safe and warm until help came to them.
When the kittens were finally found, they were brought to the Blue Cross and treated for all their ailments. Due to their cute looks and incredible story, it wasn’t long before they found a loving forever home – together. We are so happy for these two babies!
