Scottish MP John Nicholson was speaking very seriously when his ginger tabby Rojo suddenly decided to make an appearance in the videoconference call.

A lot of important meetings now have to take place via videoconferencing apps now that the global pandemic has made it more difficult for humans to meet up in person.
An uninvited guest
Usually, this isn’t a problem, as long as the internet connection is good. But when you have young children or say…a pet in the house, you’re not always guaranteed that you won’t be disturbed.
This is exactly what happened to Nicholson during a call with his colleagues. As he asks a crucial question, a fluffy tail suddenly appears into view.
It’s all about me
Even more hilariously, the cat’s tail stands right in front of Nicholson’s face, blocking him almost entirely from view. Now isn’t that a typically cat-like thing to do?
Despite the rudeness of Rojo’s unexpected appearance, Nicholson responds in a most-polite way by saying:
“I apologise for my cat’s tail,” followed by, “Rojo, put your tail down.”
Of course, the clip instantly went viral. We hope we’ll see more of Rojo going forward!
