When the little black and white kitten was rescued from the streets of Los Angeles she was tiny and weak and in a desperate state. Ripley went to live with foster mum Ashley Kelley.
Ripley was extremely dehydrated and wasn’t able to eat on her own. Ashley had to tube-feed the kitten and give her fluids throughout the night. But it worked, in just 18 hours, Ripley had put on 10 grams and could take milk from a bottle. The little kitten was gaining weight and making amazing progress.
But she needed a little friend to play with. Fortunately, she didn’t have to wait long.
Pikachu was found by children who heard his desperate meows coming from a tree. The tiny tabby was covered in fleas and was also severely underweight. He was taken in by Ashley to help him get back on his paws.
When the kittens were introduced, Ripley and Pikachu hit it off almost immediately. Pikachu was a little shy, but Ripley’s persistence paid off and within minutes the pair were playing together happily. The two kittens are pretty much inseparable, sharing toys, chasing and grooming each other and cuddling up to each other for a purrfet cat nap.
Now the pair are hoping to find a new furrever home together.
